Mission Adventures

Imagine taking your church, youth group, family or group of friends hiking to a remote indigenous village, or on a boat to distant islands. Picture playing and showing love to hundreds of smiling children or giving hope to single mothers. Imagine for a moment that you could actually be in Panama, feeling the tropical sun, getting muddy feet and callused hands, but most importantly proclaiming Jesus throughout this beautiful country. You don't have to imagine this anymore. It can be a reality!

For nearly 40 years, Youth With A Mission (YWAM) has offered short-term outreaches for groups. We've got the tools, the people, and the contacts to make your trip a success. Our job is to take care of the food, housing, transportation, training, host staff, translators, sound systems, outreach supplies...etc. Since you don't have to worry about all the logistics, you're free to lead your group and minister to the people of Panama. We'll do the work, so you can do the ministry.

Training

Every team that goes on a Mission Adventures outreach has the opportunity to receive training. Many of our trips include 1 to 2 days of live training.

A Mission Adventures outreach is a hands-on experience. You and your team will be actively involved in strategic evangelism and meeting people's needs. This isn't a trip where you come and watch the missionaries work...You ARE the missionaries! And we the host-missionaries, facilitate your outreach!

What would you do?

We have outreach opportunities throughout Panama City and the outlying communities. We have seen many opportunities unfold, allowing us to minister in public schools, hospitals, urban plazas, university campuses, orphanages and indigenous villages. There are people from all walks of life, who are hungry for a passionate relationship with a loving Savior.

Whether it be through one on one evangelism, drama, health care, work projects, sports or any other way you want to express Christ's love here in Panama, we will facilitate it.

Who can come?

Mission Adventures is open to all who have a heart to minister and be used by God. Whether you're bringing a team of Middle School students, youth group, group of adults, or church family, lives will change. Your work will make an eternal impact on the lives you minister to on outreach. And somehow, God always touches the lives of those who go on the trip. No one goes home the same. If this is your first mission trip, or even if you're a veteran, we've got a Mission Adventure for you!
